Clarity, Structure & Effective Teaching
This intensive is for dancers who teach, or aspire to teach, and want to deepen their understanding of how people learn, not just what to show.
Following the success of last year’s Teacher Training at UK WCS Championships, Robert returns with Part II, expanding on the foundations of effective teaching and exploring clarity, structure, and decision making in a teaching context. Rather than focusing on specific patterns, this intensive centres on principles and approaches that support clearer communication, stronger progressions, and more effective learning across classes, privates, and workshops.
Expect insight into how ideas are introduced, developed, and adapted for different dancers and levels, without sacrificing quality. Ideal for current teachers, assistant teachers, and advanced dancers preparing for future teaching roles, this intensive offers perspectives and tools that can be applied immediately and continue to shape how you teach long after the event.
This also includes the opportunity to gain a teaching qualification in Robert's renowned Shared Center System Methodology.

Blues, Jazz & Soul intensive
friday
27th march
approx 11am-2pm
The Blues, Jazz and Soul intensive with RoRo will put you on the right foot when it comes to dancing to traditional music. Includes key skills, rhythms, footwork, drills and practical knowledge to swing your way to success.
This intensive is for dancers who want their movement to feel intentional, grounded, and musically driven, rather than rushed or overworked. Using Blues, Jazz and Soul as reference points, Robert explores how musical structure, rhythm, and phrasing can inform timing, texture, and partnership in West Coast Swing, supporting smarter choices without changing the identity of the dance.
The focus is on developing greater awareness of music and translating it into movement with clarity and purpose. This intensive is particularly valuable for dancers who feel technically solid and are looking to add depth, maturity, and control, especially in rhythmically nuanced music.
By connecting musical understanding directly to physical action, this intensive supports dancing that feels calmer, clearer, and more meaningful, allowing your movement to say more with less effort.
